Maple Syrup
Maple syrup is made by tapping the Maple tree. Tapping is the process of drilling a 5/16" hole into the tree, inserting a spile that is attached to tubing. With the warm days and cold nights, the trees come out of dormancy. As they do, the sap starts to run, it flows through the tubing down the mountain to a gathering tank.
